The secretary opened the meeting by welcoming all new members.

Minutes of 2005 AGM

Election of Officers

Reports
Secretary gave his report which highlighted the continued growth and success of the club.

Treasurer
The treasurer gave a report along with the current balance sheet. This report showed that the club had a balance in excess of £4100 which included cash and assets.

Racing secretary gave a report which highlighted the continued success of the club in all disciplines. A request was made for all riders who had competed in open Time Trials to forward their results to him in order that the winner of the two trophies could be calculated.

Membership of BC
The secretary highlighted the need for all members to affiliate to BC for the insurance cover offered and to indemnify any members against claims.

Club holiday
The secretary gave an update on the holiday for 2007

Club website
There have recently been radical changes in the website which has been the responsibility of Austin. The new site will soon be fully functional with a members page. Austin outlined how it would work along with the events website. There was a discussion as to what will be on the site and how the forum page would work.

Social events
It was agreed that the secretary would organise the following for the coming social season.
Pub Visit – agreed 29th December in Osbornes.
Club Dinner – same venue as last year
Organised club rides over Christmas

Track visits
Next visit organised for 18th March 2007

Club rides
There was a discussion about the club rides each weekend. It was agreed that the Saturday rides would continue as they are apart from possibly splitting into to in order to get out of Gosforth.
There will be two rides on a Sunday with different routes and speeds. The training ride would be lead by Chris Bush and the slower social ride by the Secretary.
